Meditation Mount
Meditation Mount is a 33-acre retreat and event center located in the hills 5 miles east of Ojai surrounded by pristine wilderness and landscaped gardens. The Mount is set amidst the Santa Ynez Mountains overlooking the Ojai Valley. It is quiet and restful here, remote yet easy to access, (about 100 minute drive from LAX (unless rush hour), or 60 minute drive from Santa Barbara). The Center comprises of the Auditorium, which comfortably seats 200. The auditorium has a state-of-the-art sound system which accommodates most groups needs, including the ability to show computer presentations or DVDs.
Other facilities include: Public restrooms for men and women. The offices of Meditation Groups Inc., including a lounge which is home to a small bookstore and library. The offices have Internet access, and a wireless network for those who need to telecommute or check email. Two 3-bedroom houses with kitchens and meeting area. Three studios, all containing on-site bathrooms and a kitchenette.
Residential retreats are possible with the center comfortably sleeping 20 people, and room for 30 people if groups are willing to sleep dormitory style.
